Support for Land Managers

The project provides site-specific habitat advice to support and enhance the positive action by farmers and landowners.

  • On-farm advice on the management and restoration of wetland and other farmland habitats
  • Advice on the creation of wetland habitats and water management features
  • Water level management recommendations
  • Practical assistance in the planning and delivery of projects on the ground (including drawing up designs and specifications, obtaining consents, and working with contractors )
  • Help with agri-environment scheme application, and ongoing support with the implementation of agri-environment scheme options
  • Funding, or help in identifying funding opportunities to contribute to project costs
